Key Project Roles: I have been working on improving the user experience of NoteBar through SwiftUI frontend development, bug resolutions, and feature implementation. A typical work day involves investigating issues, reproducing bugs, developing and testing solutions, and collaborating with the team through code reviews and discussions. I’ve also worked on UI improvements and design consistency across the app, helping ensure that the experience is intuitive, efficient, and user-friendly. In addition, I have participated in quality assurance efforts to ensure new features meet expectations and provide a smooth experience for users. Through this internship, I have gained hands-on experience across the software development lifecycle. The experience has also given me a deeper understanding of user-centered design and the importance of building products that align with user’ needs. I have also gained insight into the challenges of developing a product, user testing, and iterative design in a fast-paced setting.

I was drawn to OKNY’s mission and excited by the opportunity to help develop a product that aligns with the way people think, organize, and interact with information. Being involved in the development and launch of NoteBar has allowed me to help build and refine a tool that makes information management more intuitive and helps reduce cognitive overload. Being able to see my contributions become part of a real application and knowing that it directly contributes to the experience of future users has made the experience especially rewarding.”
